ABOUT RESEARCH & PUBLICATION CELL
Researching is amongst the basic elements of every lawyer’s tool kit and is the sine qua non for every successful Legal career. To equip the students with the fundamentals of research, the Research and Publication Cell of Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, is constituted. This is the sole body in charge of bringing on campus the opportunities and people that are significant to the field of research. The fundamental responsibility of introducing the students to constructive researching, collating data, and its representation through effective writing is that of the Research & Publication Cell.

“SymBLawg” stems from the collective endeavors of the Research & Publication Cell at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur to introduce a new and much-awaited platform for the students of Undergraduate and
Postgraduate programs to unleash their creativity and showcase their talent on our blog platform, “SymBLawg.”.
THEME & TOPIC
“Law in Theory v/s Law in Practice”
This theme aims to examine the gap between laws as they are drafted in legal texts and their practical implementation, highlighting the challenges that hinder their effective enforcement.
1.Healthcare Laws: Challenges in Public Health Delivery.
2.Data Privacy: Legal Safeguards and Enforcement Realities,
3.Artificial Intelligence in Criminology and Forensic Science.
4.International Relations: Bridging Ideals and Practice.
5.Rights of Marginalised Communities in Practice.
BLOG SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. The submissions should align with the aforementioned theme and related sub-themes.
2. There is no strict word limit; however, we prefer posts of around 1300- 1500 words. We recommend that content be original, wellstructured, and diverse in presentation. This enhances readability and
maintains a formal tone for professionalism and clarity.
3. The Blog must be submitted in English language only and must be in Microsoft Word Format (.doc/.docx). The Word file shall be saved using the title of the paper followed by the name of the author(s).
4. Only one submission per author is permitted. Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of two authors per Blog.
5. A maximum of 10% plagiarism shall be permitted, beyond which the submission will attract immediate disqualification. Furthermore, it is to be noted that submissions incorporating AI-generated content will not be accepted, and any compromise on originality will lead to disqualification.
6. Every author must submit their AI and Plagiarism report in PDF while submitting their respective documents.
7. Citations must strictly follow the Bluebook 21st Edition.
8. Submissions should not contain offensive, abusive, derogatory, or potentially defamatory content.
9. Every submission by the author will go through strict scrutiny, and the editorial board’s decision shall be final and binding.
10. The last date of accepting submissions for this edition is September 30, 2025

PUBLICATION POLICY
All the submissions received will undergo a scrutiny by the editorial team and necessary changes required for the publication will be informed to the authors. The decision of the editorial team will be final and binding. On publication, all literary rights to the submission are transferred to the Research & Publication Cell, SLS Nagpur.
Ten selected blogs will be published on the official Symbiosis blog “SymBLawg”, providing students with a platform to share their perspectives and insights.
CERTIFICATION
Authors whose submissions are accepted for blog publication will receive an e-certificate of publication. This certificate will serve as recognition of their contribution.
